updated review; It's a good app for me, which takes me places where I haven't been. one thing I would ask developers to improve is to add live traffic so that when we're planning a round-trip random route, it automatically creates a route with less traffic. so many times I've created random round trip routes and get stuck in traffic quite a lot. road closures used to be another problem of this app that it didn't show but thankfully that has been fixed, for the most part.
can't use without an account
why does the Calimoto website not use HTTPS?
Would be great if the maps were updated. The random generator keeps planning a route on a road that's been closed for 6 months due to a bridge repair. Both Google maps and waze automatically choose a different route, why can't a PAID navigation app choose a different route? Also, the random route generator keeps picking the same route.
Just started the trial. Got it mostly for the round trip function. It finds a few good roads but lots of highway and congested areas as well. Has frozen a couple times as well on AA yet google maps functioned fine. Probably a little to quirky to count on for actual navigation but ok for a quick ride it calculates.
disappointed that I can't record my ride without a purchasing the premium package. I understand the need for an app to make money, but hiding the entire feature behind a pay wall made me delete the app instantly. do better
