Svampguiden — your digital guide to Nordic mushrooms, written by mycologist Michael Krikorev. All species descriptions and photos in the app come from Krikorev, who works at the SLU Swedish Species Information Centre (Artdatabanken) in Uppsala, has written multiple books about mushrooms, and leads mushroom courses and excursions in the autumn. Krikorev also runs svampguiden.com, Sweden's most visited mushroom site. This means that the informative texts you rely on while out in the forest are written by an expert in this field, not generated by an AI. Svampguiden has been the leading mushroom app on Google Play since 2010. Features: * Over 200 species described and illustrated with over 1200 photos, plus links to look-alike species — all available offline * Films (by Michael Krikorev and Helena Björnström) describing distinguishing features for some species * Swedish and English language availability — switch directly in the app * Identify your finds with the help of your camera and image recognition — get ID suggestions even deep in the woods without an internet connection * Smart features such as filtering on attributes and a classic mushroom key to help with species identification * A mushroom quiz to test your knowledge and learn more about the gold of the forest * GPS and maps to save and share mushroom spots with associated photos and comments. Support to import and export mushroom spots in GPX format. * Support for transferring saved favorites and mushroom spots from the iOS apps Svampguiden Classic and Svampguiden+ to Android Visit svampguiden.com for recipes and more information about mushrooms. We hope you enjoy Svampguiden — good luck in the forest!
