The offline mode is unreliable and often does not work as expected, which is frustrating for users who want to learn while traveling. A major purpose of a learning app is to support uninterrupted learning on trains, planes, or in areas with poor network coverage. Unfortunately, downloaded courses still experience playback issues, interruptions, and inconsistent behavior. The video player also needs improvement. Sometimes it is difficult to pause a video or switch to full-screen mode. On several occasions, videos even started playing automatically on my phone without any interaction. Udemy should place a much stronger focus on optimizing the mobile and offline experience. Reliable offline learning should be a core feature, not an afterthought. At the moment, the app does not provide the smooth learning experience that commuters and frequent travelers need..
