Could be great!

This app could’ve been great except for a couple of major flaws! 1. It takes forever for a file upload to queue meaning you have to leave your phone screen on for that duration, thus risking possible screen damage and unable to use your iPhone for anything else while waiting for the files to queue…that’s preposterous!!! 2. No matter how much you have already uploaded, a simple phone call will interrupt the upload meaning you have to start from scratch again…ridiculous!!! 3. There’s zero progress bar to indicate how far along the download has gone. With no visual cues, you have no way of checking if the download/ transfer is even in progress and the only message onscreen is a warning not to close the app and a cancel transfer button…not very well thought through!!! If the speed of transfers is drastically improved, queuing taking less than a mi minute with progress bar, and transfers can continue in the background, then this can very easily be a five-star app better than anything out there.

Poor Support

Very poor support, Mega doesn’t Sync properly across all the devices. The app desktop doesn’t work well either.

★★★★★Sep 30, 2026
Ignorant customer service

They have rewinded my account a few times in the past. Recently i contacted them about doing it again for me so i could get the memories back of someone who passed away. They said i can use the rewind feature but it was a waste of money again. I contacted them regarding it and they have ignored my past 5 emails about it. Ignorant service, i will be moving all my stuff too USB and cancelling my subscription.

Free and usable!!

I use this to transfer videos (or photos) across devices and you get 20GB free which is very good!! It’s also encrypted so your stuff are safe:) it’s also very easy to use as well!! They also don’t force you to pay a subscription to continue using the app, so you can use it completely for free! If you want more storage, you can also pay. Massive respect for the developers and the owner of this app, thank you! :D
