Sing it back, in sur. Sangat is daily riyaz for Hindustani singing. The harmonium plays each line in your scale, with the tabla and tanpura, and waits while you sing it back. Turn on Listen, and Sangat shows which notes were off. SING IT BACK TO THE HARMONIUM The harmonium plays a line of sargam and holds its last note until sam. Then it's your turn. Repeat keeps it coming round, and a tap on a note repeats just its part. You can also sing along, with a breath after each line, or sing on your own to the tanpura. SITAR, BANSURI, VIOLIN OR A SINGER Switch one on, and it plays each line with the harmonium or in its place, at your Sa and in time with the tabla. They are recordings of real musicians.
