Version 1.5 is mostly about the numbers being right. RATES AND CURRENCIES - Exchange rates now come from Ulik's own service, and every transaction keeps the rate of the day it happened. Amounts entered months ago stay as they were. - Currencies with no decimal places (JPY) or three of them (KWD, BHD) are formatted correctly. - A transaction with no available rate is marked instead of quietly joining your total. TOTALS THAT ADD UP - Monthly Balance covers the month you are looking at, not all of history. - This Month's Schedule shows the same total as the list underneath it. - Recurring payments are created a year ahead, so future months are no longer empty. ENTRY AND SEARCH - The amount field does arithmetic: type 10 + 20 and it saves 30. - Search covers what you actually see, converted amounts included. - Recurring transactions are marked in the list. - Deleting a transaction is now a long press, so it does not happen by accident. Plus a smoother transactions list and a set of smaller fixes.

Ulik is a simple offline expense tracker and budget app. It shows where your money goes — without a bank login, an account, or a signup screen. You add what you spend. Ulik keeps the arithmetic honest. PROJECTS INSTEAD OF ONE PILE Keep separate projects for separate lives: everyday spending, a trip, a shared flat, subscriptions. Each project has its own base currency and its own history. EVERY CURRENCY, AT THE RIGHT RATE Log an expense in any of 22 supported currencies. Ulik converts it to your project's currency at the rate for the day the expense happened — not today's rate. A lunch you bought in March still costs what it cost in March. RECURRING PAYMENTS Rent, subscriptions, the gym. Set a payment to repeat daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly, and it appears in the months ahead so nothing arrives as a surprise. YOUR MONTH AT A GLANCE Income, expenses and balance for the month you are looking at. A calendar with a total under every day. Tap a day to see what happened on it. WHERE IT ACTUALLY GOES Spending by category for any month, so the answer to "why was this month expensive" takes a second, not an evening with a spreadsheet. CATEGORIES THAT ARE YOURS Start with the built-in ones or make your own, with any emoji. Reorder them, hide the ones you do not use. FAST ENTRY Type 12.40 + 3 and Ulik does the sum. Add a transaction by voice with the Siri shortcut. Search your history by name, category or amount. YOUR DATA STAYS ON YOUR PHONE No account, no signup, no server storing your spending. Every transaction, name and project lives on your device. Ulik asks the internet for one thing only — the exchange rate for a date — and that request carries no data about you.
