You can’t beat this app for value, great graphics and the only place you’ll be able to practice your local golf course on a simulator. Super under rated app for the price.
Once set up easy to use. Local weather on local course or when horrible weather conditions customise conditions. I like how you can alter green ball speeds and depending on you putting abilities alter size of rings on green to how far you think you can one and two put. I like how you can go on to play next shot on the fairway in practice mode. Would be handy though if you could go straight to a spot you can practice from. James uk
The simulation itself is great. Would be perfect if they fixed/added things like taking a drop after landing in water instead of making the next shot unplayable from the waters edge. And the 3 putts when on the green but outside the circle is too harsh (half the 2 putt circle and some of the 1 putt circle were in the water at 17 on TPC Sawgrass!!). Should change this to 2 putts if on green, and if off the green give us the chance to chip close. Fix these and it’s 5 stars.
Really want to like this but it just doesn’t recognise chip shots making it a very frustrating experience. Awesome Golf does recognise chips in exactly same set up.
Upgrade looks great. I’d agree that the chipping doesn’t always seem to get picked up, but otherwise great.
Crashes on nearly every hole. Freezes. Lags. Absolutely unusable. Credit where it’s due, it looks better than the old version. All chipping is impossible with the R10. It takes 4 or 5 attempts before anything is recognised
