Gothic Classic

With the status of gaming hardware having this on mobile is fantastic, one of my favourite RPG of all time! Probably can push the second and third instalments too, still great to see more proper games coming to iOS especially with a bit of a graphical revamp, however, the beauty of Gothic 1 is the RPG and story depth. Negative comments from people not turning silent mode off…how can we even be of the same species is beyond me.

I still cannot believe that my dream of having this on my phone without Windows emulators or dreadful bugs has finally come true :-) Huge appreciation to the authors and now I’m waiting for The Night of the Raven. BTW the system sound need to be on

I got myself an 8BitDo SF30 Pro controller to play the game and it was honestly a great comfy way to play the game. Personally I beat the whole game with minimal to no issues. It generally feels like the game was cleaned up more than the pc version and it feels better to play as a result. Not to mention the cool extra graphical enhancements. Geniuinely a great way to experience the game. Can't speak for the touch controls but with a bluetooth controller its great.

I bought it as soon as available. Perfect. If you do gothic 2 notr on iOS as well, you would give my life meaning again

Just had the chance to get to the old colony everything seems to work great. Huge shame that this version seems to work better then the Nintendo switch one… only minus with this version that I noticed which isn’t a huge thing, is that the loading screen is missing the two iconic girls in the loading screen with the baron. I also like but not fully convinced with the updated art would like to see an option to have the old art in the loading screens but seeing the smoothed out new art is also cool but thinking about it now it could have just been enhanced by AI either way really cool to have this on my iPad and my iPhone and pleased that it seems I got a more playable version on these devices than my Nintendo switch. I really tried playing this title on my Nintendo but I got to chapter 3 and it was a nightmare from the bugs to the clunky joystick mechanics it just made me put the game down and wait for an update which I think THQ forgot about as I’ve not seen any improvement of life yet. Hopefully I can enjoy the title more on this version ! oh also huge thing this is £8.99 compared to the £20 odd quid on the switch!!! I know the Nintendo tax is a real thing but at least release a working game or fix the game so that it’s enjoyable and playable. Hope someone at THQ sees this.
