Gossip Street: Merge & Cook

merge games are very straightforward. you generate items and merge them. the forced tutorial that lasts 5-10 minutes is completely unnecessary.

This has been one of my favorite mobile games for a while. I’m level 120-something, Chapter 23 or 24, and I’ve never had an issue supporting the devs with small purchases here and there (as recently as today even, before I saw the change that inspired this). The art is great, the stories are fun, and overall it is/was super enjoyable. But lately some changes made to the game have made it so much less “friendly” to the point where I am losing interest in a game I’ve put so much time in. The two biggest red flags were the changes made to the daily missions section, which make it significantly harder to achieve, and the “star shop” getting INSANELY devalued, and removing energy from the packages. Really, really disappointing from a team that HAD created such a user friendly game and made it so hostile. I certainly won’t be purchasing anything moving forward unless they go back to their old ways, and I regret financially supporting this team in the past.

So, I have been well over a week trying to progress past a si gel order, unable to move on because that 1 single order is all that is available all others are now locked until I complete that 1. You have to make a double digit merge simply to move on, problem is the item you get this produce from has a cool down timer of something like half an hour. Even with 5 of these I have still been over a week and just now reached a single watermelon an another pineapple. I’m over it. I don’t have the time to waste trying to spend a week trying to get 1 order just to get my next “quest” there are too many other games to choose from for this. I wish you luck but I’m out. Maybe if you ever realize that this is too absurd for people to actually want to waste so much time trying to get past this order! I play World of Warcraft and quests, t max lvl are easier than this, and that’s saying a LOT!
