What users say

Latest reviews, United Kingdom App Store.

★★★★★Oct 6, 2026
Totally Useless

Plex Photos remains utterly useless as it still does not allow full access to your own images stored on your own HDD at your own home. It is still not possible to download your own images from your own HDD via Plex Photos, something which was previously possible in the main Plex app before photos were moved to their own app some time ago. Do not waste your time downloading this app, which seemingly Plex has given up on.

An embarrassment

Shockingly poor photo app, you’ve destroyed Plex ecosystem with this. You can’t even view a photo full screen or full size without a ridiculous bar blocking the top of the picture. What an abandoned disaster this app is 🤦🏻‍♂️

No slideshow?

Great app. Works well but there’s no slideshow function - why?

★★★★★Mar 30, 2026
Utterly Pointless

Can’t run a slideshow, so what is the point of this app?

★★★★★Dec 15, 2025
No slide show. No folder view

That's all for now
