AwesomeI don’t understand the haters, I love this game, it’s easy to pick up and play, the development of characters doesn’t need a spread sheet and a mathematics degree, the dialogue if brilliant, with very likable character that have actually made me laugh out loud when the chat and banter with each other . The graphics and environment are beautiful, and the characters are stunning . Special monthly characters are obtainable. And you can buy stuff to get stronger, but I haven’t found that necessary at all. Only when I want too. Overall I think this is a fantastic mobile game !

WowAt first I was really enjoying this game, playing it all the time and keeping up with the updates. However, the summer update came and they made an already existing character a summer version but its own separate character and not a skin? I personally don’t agree with this type of game doing that. You could have made it a skin but no clearly you wanted more money. Why on earth would I pull for the same character but it’s more sexual than the original already was? No thanks.

Brilliant game but too much fanserviceMongil: Star Dive has some genuinely excellent gameplay. The combat feels fast, responsive, and satisfying, and building teams, experimenting with different characters, and farming materials gives players plenty to do. The character progression system is enjoyable, and pulling for and developing new characters remains one of the game’s strongest points. When the game focuses on gameplay, it can be incredibly fun and rewarding.
Unfortunately, one of my biggest issues is the lack of meaningful story content in recent updates. It feels like it’s been quite a while since substantial story chapters or narrative developments were added. As a result, my time with the game has gradually shifted from actively engaging with new content to simply logging in for daily rewards, completing routine farming, and collecting resources for upcoming characters. The gameplay loop is still enjoyable, but without new story content, it starts to feel repetitive over time.
Another aspect that has become increasingly difficult to ignore is the amount of fan service. While fan service is common in many gacha games, Mongil: Star Dive often feels heavily targeted toward a male audience. Character designs, promotional material, and certain in-game presentations seem to prioritize this approach to a degree that can feel excessive and limiting for players looking for a broader variety of character representation.
This issue is further highlighted by the game’s character roster. There are literally only four male playable characters, and they feel noticeably neglected compared to the rest of the cast. Even when investing in the appropriate enhancements, upgrades, and equipment, these male characters generally struggle to compete with many of the stronger female characters. The imbalance makes it difficult to justify using them outside of personal preference, which is disappointing for players who enjoy a more diverse roster or want viable male character options.
Overall, Mongil: Star Dive is a game with fantastic gameplay and a solid progression system that keeps me coming back. However, the ongoing lack of story content, the overwhelming focus on fan service, and the poor representation and performance of male characters prevent it from reaching its full potential. I still enjoy playing, but at this point I find myself logging in mainly for daily bonuses and character farming while waiting for the game to provide more substantial content and better roster balance.

Too much fanservice and sexualised charactersI played since release for about three days and genuinely couldn’t bear anymore. It feels like a cheap wuthering waves copy, I haven’t seen a single playable male character (other than the free main character you get) and the fanservice on the female characters is already so off putting. There is no reason for a teenage looking character to be wearing shorts so small that half her behind is on show, and what is basically a bra. Another character having part of her chest out as well, and I don’t mean just a low cut shirt. I mean you can see the bottom half of her chest very easily from first glance. The graphics are okay for a new game but does have room for improvement.
