Immediately removed, advertising as a free app, then only let you listen for 1 hour a day…. Haha I would rather pay $3-$4 for a one time download than an annual subscription. I’m sick of the subscription services.
This app is perfect for what I need, something to play my own books and see the chapter list, with dark mode, and all that. Problem is: it’s a subscription or you have a 60 minute listen cap a day. I tried to listen 60 min. close to midnight so I can have 2 full hours but turns out I have to wait 24 hours from the moment I ran out my 60 min. a day. I don’t mind paying once, but I don’t want another subscription, I have too many (and probably you too, who are reading this, have too many) Awful, uninstalling immediately regretfully
As an avid audiobook listener and e-book reader, I need an app like this to listen to my audiobooks and occasionally to listen to my e-books via text to speech. I pay an annual fee for a different app (one that I absolutely love, love, love). For years, I never had a single issue with that app until I came across a book I could not successfully upload to that app. That’s how I came across this one. I was super grateful for the 1-hour a day to try this app for free (and I was super grateful to get to listen to my audiobook). I was really impressed with all of the features this app offered; the only problem I have with is that you can only increase this voice speed up to 2.0. With some narrators, I occasionally go as high as 2.5. With the audiobook, I listened to on this app, 2.0 felt very slow, so that was frustrating. Otherwise, I think this app is great! Especially since you can use it for one hour a day free.
It didn’t space out the chapters right and I waited 24 hours and I still didn’t get my 60 minutes refreshed. Honestly the app isn’t good enough to pay for its bare minimum

There are better apps out there, sadly. When it works, it’s great! But there are so many problems. Support is unresponsive, there is no connection between your account on OS and on mobile, and even if you get the Pro version, the app will forget that you purchased it, enforcing the 30 min limit. Maybe wait on this app to see if they ever fix the issues. Regrettably, it’s too many inconsistencies for me to justify using it.
