Cute but buggy

This app was so much fun until the ipad issues. I can still use it in my phone but it's hard for me to see there. There's also an issue worth some of the words in the hiragana and romani selection are requiring Kanji. I keep reporting it but nothing fixed yet. Hoping that the developer fixes the bugs soon.

Good app, buggy music is distracting

I want to give this 5 stars for the game and instruction - especially since they’re teaching basics BEFORE mixing it up with the more complicated formal forms, which is too rare- but the music is a problem. It’s way too loud by default, drowning out the dialogue, and you can’t turn it off. You can turn it all the way down, but then every time I start an actual lesson, it’s on full blast again, even though the slider is still on minimum. You have to turn it UP, at which point the actual sound goes to the new level, then all the way back down again. It’s obnoxious and distracting, and frequently painful with headphones. Fix it & get 5 stars.
