Latest reviews, United States App Store.
The website and stories that come off of it are great, the staff have recently found it right to censor and remove media for what only seems to be unaligning with their views.. in a book app where you can find stories of political violence and constant innuendo towards similar stories…. Just ridiculous
This app is a worse experience than just using their site on safari. It’s clunkier and they inconvenience people with ads to force them to pay. On safari the ads can be completely unobtrusive for free, especially if you set up the reader in the browser. So what point is there in an app that is just designed to use dark patterns to make you want to pay money? Just make the normal site a web app on your homepage and go without this junk.
I received a response to my support ticket within a reasonable time period!
Great app, the only feature I wish it had was a way to auto hide authors notes. 9 times out of ten they’re just ads for stories from other authors. The remaining notes are split between actually useful information and the authors whining about reviews.
Ads are where you decide to have them is also a great part of this app, also writing your first novel this is the app for you.
I love this app. I love reading and this app does a great job of not getting in the way. I can read easily, ads are at the beginning or end of chapter and not disruptive. Good quality of life features. Well supported and maintained. 12/10.
