Races & events - Join races and events right from the app, and see the races you've joined on Today. - Watch any race live on a full-screen map you can pan and zoom. - Race directors can create races, add them to events, message every athlete, and set finishes by hand. - Start and finish gates can now be lines. - Schedule course races and jump straight to their leaderboards. Session replay - Tap the replay button to swap a session's map for an instant replay, with a timeline and simpler controls. - See the other riders who were on the water with you, along with everyone's current hats and frames. - Watch the replays of other riders' sessions you're allowed to see. Forecasts & maps - Tap any point on the map for its forecast, including a second swell, wave energy and a swell target. - Swell and currents now follow the real coastline. - The Wind layer shows live wind stations and forecast arrows with speeds. - Swell forecasts on iPhone widgets and Apple Watch complications. - Show wind and speed in different units. Social - @mention riders in session comments. They get a notification that opens the session. - React to comments. - A ranked For You feed on Explore, which is now easier to find and post to. - Rider hats now show in Chats and direct messages. Quests & rewards - Rides you finished before accepting a daily quest now count toward it. - New seasonal pirate hats with five illustrated finishes, and refreshed Captain and Kraken frames. - Unlock signature frame toppers as you level up. - New rewards are marked on the Games tab, now called Quests. Health & recording - Apple Watch rides now record active calories, and iPhone-recorded rides are saved to Apple Health. - If saving a ride fails, it uploads again once you're back home. Gear - Your gear garage is grouped and sorted by type. - Adding gear takes one less step. Fixes & polish - Fixed target arrows disappearing on the map. - Fixed comment mention suggestions going stale or getting cut off. - Fixed a quick tab switch sometimes leaving the old screen showing. - Fixed an Apple Watch workout sometimes ending before Health had finished it. - Search your settings from the top of the Settings screen. - Sleeping live cams now say they're waking up. - Plus many smaller layout and performance improvements.
