There are a lot of good aspects about this game but the RNG is questionable at best. Spending in this game is a terrible decision even though there are countless paywalls. Return on spending is one of the worst in its genre. Can find better
The game isn’t worth it the devs don’t care about their players only the top ones, and if you’re Free to Play HA this game is not for you. Only way to grow in this game is to pay to win. Cause the devs surely does give a single thought about you if you’re not spending hundreds of thousands
I played this game for months and never made any in-app purchases. A few weeks ago, I made an in-game purchase so I could win a challenge, and I’ve made several $1 up to $5 purchases since then. Apple Pay has a glitch where it will add up all the purchases you’ve made (and already paid for) and then recharge you a lump sum amount, and I was charged $51.54 for a $.99 item. I appealed it with my credit card and won, but won’t use Apple Pay for in-app purchases ever again. I still wanted to make another small purchase, so I went to the official game store and used PayPal for a $4.99 item. This time, I was charged and never received the item. I put in help tickets and tried to chat with their useless customer service chat bot, but got nowhere. This morning when I tried to load the game, it said my account was blocked for being fraudulent. If anything, THEY have been the fraudulent ones but I’m totally locked out of the game and months of building my account and characters have been wasted. Good riddance I guess. So have fun playing, but don’t fall for the in-app purchases.
After 1000’s of dollars spent the game sometimes glitches and you don’t receive the packs you paid for nor the top up rewards. They do not refund your money without weeks of hassle and their last attempt and resolving their problem of not receiving what you paid for is because you have a history of refunds were applying it to your outstanding balance and your stuff will not be shipped. ???!!! So you pay for it, they refund you sometimes and then they say this. Even with screenshots of payment and errors on game not giving you what is in the merchandise. Oh and they remove the history so you can’t even show them where they agreed they didn’t give you the merchandise. Figure this one out would you??? It sounds crazy to me too.
While I do love the game and the many friends I have made, I will no longer play. The game starts out great, but like so many other games, the money grabs start. Upgrading is ridiculously expensive. Millions of iron, stone, wood, and food for EVERY upgrade. The only way to get enough iron is usually to buy! I started spending $100.00 a week trying to upgrade to stay competitive! No way! I am done with this greedy developer. Stay clear folks! Crysallis
If you enjoy building an empire, doing random but also repetitive missions, battles, events, etc, then this is great. It takes work and time to build. It’s not an overnight, quick achievement. It’s surprising, fun and requires some mental work. The characters are fun, involved and with the game you can think you know everything and yet always find something new to learn. Find an alliance that fits you and it feels like a new world. One you can escape to when you need a real life break. I’ve been playing for around three months and I still pick it up everyday.
