Such bravery and courage……

A disturbing read, however through out the story the survivors strength, bravery, and courage shines through. It is so difficult for victims to speak up for endless reasons as well as being silenced by abusive programmers. As survivors continue to grow and age often it is only then that some can come forward for justice. Often many do not, because the legal systems will support the perpetrators and neglect or further punish survivors of child abuse. The ultimate slap in the face is inadequate sentencing world wide, which can further traumatise victims just as much as the abuse itself. Unfortunately it seems the courts are not serious about child abuse, especially if it has happened in the distant past. So where’s the incentive to speak out, and where is the deterrents to help prevent child abuse? Sarah explains how child abuses can tragically affect survivors for the rest of their lives, in other words the victims gets a “life sentence”. The perpetrators instead can often get less than a year of jail, or worse still, a suspended sentence! Sarah so bravely told her story, which was difficult to read because of the brutality, however through doing so she is helping other survivors, and maybe one day these justice systems will read important stories like Sarah’s and take them seriously enough to learn from them and improve the systems and the laws, which would be the ultimate justice for a childhood of harrowing horror. Perpetrators should be forced to listen to survivors stories during every single waking day of their sentences, over and over, so that some may get an inkling of the amount of damage and suffering their actions can cause. Well done Sarah! Always remind yourself that the ordeals are now over and that your strength got you through. Continue with art, it is so very therapeutic! German Shepherd’s are so smart, loving, and healing. Keep your furry girl close and reward her often as it sounds like you have got a truly wonderful dog! Things will get better for you and you will find that some healing is possible as long as you value and continue the things that make you feel good and hold onto the things that give you strength, love, and support. Always remember that you never did any wrong and that you are worth your own self care.

unavailable offline despite claims

Since 2018 Audible does not work offline. If you're in a desert, mountain, basement or use airplane mode or simply a device without data but access to wifi, the moment you go offline Audible turns white and the screen loads and attempts to download your already downloaded and purchased item. The random data checks are not 30 days it is 3-30 seconds. Restarting phone didn't help. Re-downloading app doesn't help. Audible have been informed 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022... they know. It only gets worse. Time to escalate this legally.

It was good but a bit predictable

Loved the ideas behind it, I really liked the 1st mini story - that’s something I haven’t heard before while the others seem predictable and retold stories from others - a little disappointed BUT I still enjoyed most of it.
