Satisfied my needs

Call notifications in idle mode was a necessity for me it just works fantastically on Groundwire. Loved the application. Although UI could be improved more. But loved it overall so far.

This one actually works

I recently ditched my BT landline (after being fed up being charged £44/month for something I rarely used) , but wished to retain my number as a VoIP incase any previous contacts or “older people” dialled it. Got the VoIP credentials from my provider and tried several “free” VoIP apps like Wave, Zoiper etc. None of them worked. I could either make calls but not receive them or vice versa 🙄 Using AI I eventually was guided to Groundwire. Just a few tweaks to the settings and Bingo! Every thing works! Worth paying the one-off purchase price to save all that hassle with the useless free apps!

Where has this been all my life?

I run the Roblox group Moderley and we’ve always used VoIP to support our worldwide team. Most of us have desk phones at home, usually Ciscos, connected to our freepbx server. All these years I had never found a decent iOS app for taking sip calls. All the ones I had tried go to sleep causing you to miss calls or require some subscription or want you to sign up for another VoIP service. Groundwire is simply next level. For a one time fee you finally get a sip client that works perfectly and uses push notifications properly to ensure you never miss a call. I am always recommending Groundwire to my employees for taking calls on the go, to the point where one has joked that my second job is Groundwire sales. It’s just that I spent my whole life working around terrible sip clients due to iOS limitations and then Groundwire comes along and solves it all for a small fee. 100% would recommend, as long as you’ve got your provider and credentials ready you can connect it right away. :)

Business calling features Groundwire carries the call handling you expect from a desk phone: - Group calls, for conferencing several people into one conversation. - Attended transfers, so you can announce a caller before handing the call over. - Unattended transfers, when the caller just needs the right extension. - Voicemail with notifications, so a missed call still reaches you. - Instant messaging, for the things that do not need a call. - Per-account settings, so one device carries several SIP identities cleanly. Works with your PBX or VoIP provider Groundwire is a universal client and true VoIP for PBX users. Teams run it as an Asterisk softphone, a FreePBX extension, or a 3CX endpoint, and it connects just as readily to hosted PBX systems and business phone providers.
