Building site outside, no sleep, very very noisy! room doesn’t look like photo

No review given, no warning of building site, if there was I would not have booked especially as it just arrived after a long travel day!

Dragonfly Glamping Spa Retreat

We had a fabulous stay at the retreat in a glamping pod. We were sent specific what-three-word instructions and a video of what to look out for on our approach by the owner. He then met us on arrival with his gorgeous three year old, who helped with showing us around. The site was a pure haven. We enjoyed a relaxing session in the hot tub and sauna (but gave the cold plunge pool and bucket shower a miss… We enjoyed time spent in the “Tea pod” and the communal shower and catering facilities did not disappoint. It was a really lovely way to relax after a long drive. Thank you.

Worst place ever

Warning to future travelers: do not book this property. The listing is severely misleading, and as multiple recent guest reviews confirm, this is an ongoing pattern. First, the actual physical location of the property is completely different from the map pin shown on Booking.com. Second, despite my confirmed reservation price of £48 for Sunday to Friday, the host refused to honor the rate upon arrival and forced me to pay £74 in local cash. Please check the review history carefully before booking and avoid this property to save yourself the extra cost and stress.

Royal Hotel Cardiff

Dirty windows and windowsill between the two windows, dirty mirror, plastic flowers in the vase and on the windowsill. Empty shower gel container in the bathroom, dust on the lamp stand and head board. Safe had flat batteries so you can’t open it. Definitely seen better days and maintenance. Sad and old fashioned, dated and shabby. And you coming to this empty reception where is no life soul to be found. But when you find the staff they are helpful.
