I relented and gave this app a three month trial run. What a joke. 90% of my matches were fake accounts or scammers that I reported. Please please do not join. No local marches even though I tried numerous times to resent and narrow my match preferences. Then even though I used advanced match features women showed up as matches. No thanks. This app isn’t worth it. It’s nothing like it used to be. Majority of profiles are not complete or fake. Just don’t do it. Don’t. Not renewing. Nothing but out of area preferences scammer AI fake incomplete accounts. Garbage. WOT. Match should be reported to the government. I can log in and see that my profile icon had 12 views. I then go to see how many views and non appear. I live in Chicagoland area- Most matches are AI generated and out of preference zones. Most matches are out of state, non within 30 mile radius - out of all places Chicagoland area (township not being disclosed in match review) not of preferred race, and many profiles are literally incomplete. Match again sucks. They would rather than quantity over quality. They have so many male - muscular Caucasian profiles with beards, goatee, muscles with tropical or foreign backgrounds that are additionally incomplete, inactive, and reported as scam accounts. You spend more time swiping left and reporting incomplete dating profiles just to find real active complete profiles. Additionally, more matches are always out of state even if you put within a mileage that is still instate. They need to scrub profiles / accounts instead of banning users reported by other overly sensitive accounts. I can literally receive ten inactive, incomplete account in a row. This isn’t what dating used to be like when using match. Match sucks. Match is nothing it once was. It’s terrible. They don’t care about love they care about quantity and number of users.
Match is a pretty dirty company. Don’t expect any real help if you have an issue. There’s no number to call, you can’t chat live with customer service, they’ll block your access for no reason, and largely ignore you.
The app is poorly designed can’t even verify account using my phone number. Customer Care is horrible.
Fake profiles have gotten out of control. They make you make more and more for basic features. Blah.
It’s awful. Bunch of fake profiles and fat ugly women too. Presents me with women far away. Waste of time.
