I find this to be a good solution for phone-wide blocking of malware and/or ads via DNS, or just to have encrypted DNS, which is a recommended security practice. It can be used with their free DNS servers if you don’t want to subscribe. You will have to go to their website and do some reading about how it all works. Probably not for beginners unless they have someone to guide them.
Simple and easy to configure, just type in your resolver ID (created when you make a profile) and go. I use the HTTP/3 VPN configuration for the best performance for my setup. Otherwise just choose OS Native (Default Setting)

This is a service system and ecology designed coded and engineered by people who spend their entire lives inside a computer speaking in foreign coding languages that only an alien from another galaxy could understand. They then bring this unusually cryptic codex and lexicography of madness to you in the form an app driven service they are happy to charge you for while you have absolutely no idea how to deploy, utilize or capitalize on in return for your financial support. Oh but there are instructions and support forums and something called customer service that no human on earth knows how to actually follow through with in this, our currently twisted beyond all repair backasswards era… No there isn’t. And no, you won’t get it. You won’t understand. You won’t even get a complimentary can of petrolatum. Ultimately you’ll be stranded in a void of unanswered questions and perpetual self-guided rants about how computers and all modern silicon fueled technologies are indeed the end of humanity as zombies begin to crawl and drool from the shadows of a nearby forest while you’re still searching for baby deer to slaughter because nobody warned you about the mistake you were about to make when you downloaded this app….
Liked what it can do, BUT taken over by the "cloned phone" everyone said can't happen on iPhone! Validated when phone moved from SE to 17 model and gone for about a minute. AT&T & Apple no help to push them out. Thought this might do it. Instead app control taken over.
