HOW SURE ARE WE
Small app: combines its grossing ranks with ratings growth (71 new ratings a month on average since launch). Tested on 418 apps with verified revenue: typically off by about 2.4 times, so the range is wide. Countries we don't track (and Google Play in China, which doesn't exist) aren't included, and neither are ads or web payments. Gross revenue before store fees.

VIGI app on iPad Pro

Good but needs to be better

For a security app there’s some significant improvements that need to be made. It’s a NIGHTMARE to save footage, even if it’s from the notifications of a motion detected event. The fact that you have to manually adjust the two start and end points on the timeline whilst it persistently keeps playing the footage which moves the timeline is infuriating. Even if you pause the footage as soon as you then move the timeline back it starts playing again. Equally, it was a pain to set up notifications having to turn many “notifications” toggles on for both the app, the NVR, and then the cameras individually. It wasn’t very user friendly at all. Finally, the notifications are so delayed, if there is motion detected and you tap the notifications it should go live so you can be proactive not reactive after the event.
