Nintendo Store

You can’t download/install games remotely to your switch/2 like the main apps from the big other two. You don’t even have access to your game library. It’s literally a shortcut to website url each time you actually want to do anything in it making it pretty useless. What is the point of an app that’s just url links to the actual store. You might as well make the main website store a homepage shortcut on your phone, it’d be far more convenient. I don’t know who’s managing these apps but Nintendo online, Nintendo today and my Nintendo should all be compiled into a single app just called Nintendo App. Constantly releasing a new one that does one thing is getting bloated. Just keep them all together for consistency.

This Apple version of the Nintendo Store app is not as good as the Android version. For some reason, this Apple version of the app misses games off my wish list on the ‘On Sale` bit. In the Android app, when I go to my wish list and tick the ‘On Sale` box, it currently shows that there are 41 games on my wish list that are currently on sale. However, on this Apple app, it currently shows that there are 32 games on sale. I have refreshed the page too and it still shows 32 games instead of 41. 😳 This Apple version of the app, doesn’t show any of the DLC that is in my wish list that is on sale, but the Android version of the app does. The Apple one is missing some of the games that are on sale and in my wish list too. This is annoying so I use the Nintendo app on my Android phone instead of my iPad. It is a shame as I prefer the larger screen on my iPad. I don’t want to miss out on sale stuff though. 😔

When you try to buy anything just opens the safari store page, the app does not handle any shopping is just a catalog viewer.
