Glitchy, freezes and now crashes on startup

Dreadful app, how hard can it be to make an app that syncs with your own chartplotters. Trying to sync produced multiple errors on both chart plotter and app, then it appeared to have worked but none of the tracks synced across, now the app crashes on startup. And they make me pay for this privilege twice, by forking out for their chartplotter and an app subscription. Sort it out you money grabbing incompetents.

Shocking App

Nothing good to say about this App. Folk are experiencing basic issues everywhere. The primary use case for the app does not work. Importing a track has to happen via a C-Map web interface. Imported tracks are invisible until saved. Tracks on web interface won’t sync with App which won’t sync with plotters on the boat. New tracks on the boat won’t display either. What is the point of a marine gps system that navigates over land, won’t display tracks and won’t sync with the app. Worst GPS experience I have had and deeply regret the Simrad purchase, but unfortunately I had no choice with Saxdor Yachts.

App seem to be broken on iOS 17.6.1

I love this app but have today woken to find that after updating to iOS 17.6.1 the maps no longer load. Instead I’m left with the red SIMRAD splash screen as the background. I can’t find a way to request support other than leaving this review. Hopefully the folks at Simrad are actively working on a fix.

Problematic App

Sadly, the app is not functioning as it should be. Especially when operating side by side to one of simrad’s chart-plotters. Complete disaster, premium subscription paid too and still nothing. It’s basically a 60% dysfunctional app which Simrad HAS to pick up their game on as eventually we all will look into changing Hardware too let alone the app… developers - start coding, project managers - start utilising your overtime!! Thank you all
