VHS Cam: Vintage Video Filters

The quality is amazing but it is mirrored and you can’t take pictures

They will offer you a free 7 day trial and then a yearly sub for 19.99. When clicking that offer it will just charge you 19.99 for the year and not give you your 7 days to try. They won’t refund on apple. They tell you to reach out to the merchant. There is no contact for this developer. It takes you to their website with no help, as many other reviews shared they just charge and take your money. Terrible working app and scam artists

This app is just disappointing and I have a few reasons. 1. The VHS Cam app will continuously just crash on you at anytime it feels like either when you are recording a video or when you are in the process of saving a video. Which ultimately just completely sucks because if you recorded something you may only have been able to capture once. Good luck you might lose the entire footage or picture becuase the app isn’t reliable or sustainable. 2. I was offered a “free 7 days trial”. And just like any other app when you accept a free trial you aren’t charged for anything until the trail ends. However with the VHS Cam app. It stated in bold print “7 days free and then $19.99”. So when I accepted the free trial I was instead charged immediately to my Apple Pay for $19.99 plus tax. The app completely mislead me and ultimately lied to me and stole my money. Before I accepted the free trial I made sure to thoroughly read everything before clicking, and nowhere did it state on the screen that this would be a renewal or a restoration. So I’m just completely disappointment with the app in a few major different areas which no user should have to deal with. 3. If you are looking to reach out to the developers of the app, good luck on finding their customer service team to help resolve a situation like this or anything else. It shows they do not care for what their users have to say or feedback. As long as you download there application that’s clearly all they care about. So please do not waist your time with waiting for a download to use this app. There are so many better ones out there that don’t require a payed subscription just to use a basic filter. 4. Monthly subscription price is just completely outrages and highway robbery. $19.99 for a single month should say it all. Most apps charge that much for a full year. And it’s all for a the most basic and simple filter that you can find and use for free somewhere else.
